Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly been miserable in training for the past month after making a string of blunders.
The 28-year-old conceded a sloppy goal against Arsenal last month, shipped four away to Everton and could have done better to keep out both of Manchester City's goals in midweek.
De Gea, often the Red Devils' most reliable player, was also at fault for one of Lionel Messi's goals as Man United were knocked out of the Champions League last week.
According to The Sun, the Spanish keeper's growing list of mistakes, combined with his ongoing contract standoff with the club, has left him with a "face liked a slapped arse".
A United insider is quoted by the publication as saying: "David has had a face like a slapped arse around the place for more than a month or so now.
"He has always been someone who had a smile on his face but he has not been his usual bubbly self and something is not right.
"The contract situation dragging on might be interfering with his head and the constant speculation cannot help, that's for sure."
Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are both believed to be in the running to sign De Gea in the summer transfer window.
