Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has dropped a hint that he is ready to commit his long-term future to the 20-time English champions.
De Gea has less than 18 months left to run on his existing contract, but United are desperate to sign the Spain international to a new long-term deal as soon as possible.
There were concerns over De Gea in the early stages of his Premier League career, but the Madrid-born stopper has since developed into one of the world's best in his position.
United are said to be confident of signing the Spaniard to a new long-term contract, but wage demands are still believed to be an issue.
On Thursday, United's goalkeeping coach Emilio Alvarez posted a picture of himself on Instagram alongside De Gea with the caption: "Friends, coffee time, excited future ahead [sic]".
In response, De Gea posted two 'top arrow emojis', suggesting that an agreement is close.
The 28-year-old has kept 10 clean sheets in 34 appearances for the Red Devils this season.
