Mino Raiola has confirmed that Matthijs de Ligt is eager to leave Juventus and seek a new challenge next summer.
The Old Lady won a competitive race for the Dutch international in 2019, and he has since gone on to make 94 appearances for the club across all competitions.
However, Juve have struggled to match their recent success in the past two campaigns, missing out on the Serie A title for the first time since 2010-11 last term and currently sitting seventh in the table this season.
De Ligt's agent has now confirmed that the 22-year-old is "ready for a new step", and revealed that a switch to the Premier League could be on the agenda.
The likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in De Ligt in the past, but Raiola also confirmed that Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are likely to be in the running too.
"I think we all know which clubs to mention for Matthijs de Ligt as 'next step'. We will see this summer," Raiola told NOS.
"Premier League? It can be Barcelona too, or Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain."
Chelsea are thought to be one of the most interested parties in the former Ajax skipper, with current defenders Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta all closing in on the final six months of their contracts at Stamford Bridge. body check tags ::
