Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has ruled out the prospect of completing a January transfer to Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has placed strong emphasis on signing a midfielder in this window following injuries to Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay.
Van de Beek, who enjoyed an excellent 2018-19 campaign with Ajax, has been mentioned as a target for the Red Devils in this window.
Speaking on the subject of his future, Van de Beek told Fox Sports Netherlands: "It is not that I can or want to do something at the moment.
"I have said it before and I will say it again: I will remain at Ajax this season. And maybe next season as well.
"These reports about Real Madrid or Man United are a good sign, but it is not important now. I've said I will stay at Ajax and I will do so for 100 per cent."
United are said to be in advanced talks over a deal to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes in the current window.
The club have also been linked with wanting to complete deals for James Maddison and Jack Grealish next summer.
