Edinson Cavani has reportedly decided to leave Manchester United when his contract runs out at the end of the current campaign.
The former Paris Saint-Germain striker has made quite an impact since his 2020 arrival with six goals and two assists in 18 Premier League appearances, although his injury issues have concerned supporters.
Cavani penned a one-year deal with the option of a further year when he joined back in the summer, but United are supposedly reluctant to trigger the extension given his age and fitness woes.
As a result, Ole claim that the 34-year-old is instead keen to head for the exit door after one season at the club in order to secure a move to Argentinian giants Boca Juniors.
The report claims that Cavani has always dreamed of plying his trade with Boca, and he has already touched base with club president Joan Roman Riquelme to express his desire of a future move to the club.
Cavani is understood to be earning £210k per week at Old Trafford, but he would supposedly be willing to take a significant pay cut to link up with Boca Juniors.
