Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has once again dismissed speculation that he will leave Camp Nou this summer.
The Spain international has been linked with a switch to Manchester United, who are thought to be confident of landing Fabregas as well as Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.
Despite the reports, the former Arsenal captain has insisted that he wants to stay with the Catalans, who he signed for from the Emirates Stadium in 2011.
"I've always said that I'm happy at Barca," Fabregas told Marca. "Whoever says that I'm leaving doesn't know me and has never spoken with me. Nor with my agent, because he knows that I don't want him to talk with other people about me.
"I'm very private and I don't even talk about these things with my family. If someone says anything that isn't that I want to play at Barca, it's completely absurd."
Fabregas had an inconsistent period within the Barcelona team towards the final stages of last season.
