Fenerbahce officials will reportedly meet with Manchester United chiefs next week to discuss a move for Anthony Martial during the January transfer window.
There is currently widespread speculation surrounding the 27-year-old's future, as his contract with the 20-time English champions is due to expire at the end of the campaign.
Man United have the option of activating a 12-month extension, which is likely if they plan to sell him next summer, but there have also been claims that the forward could leave in January.
Martial has only managed to contribute one goal and one assist in 15 appearances for the Red Devils this season, with the Frenchman the back-up centre-forward at the club this term.
According to Fotomac, Fenerbahce want to sign a new striker during the January transfer window and have identified Martial as their leading target in that area of the field.
The report claims that officials from the Turkish giants will meet with Man United next week when the Red Devils are in Istanbul for the Champions League clash with Galatasaray.
Fenerbahce are said to be in a position to make an offer, with a loan deal potentially initially being agreed for the second half of the 2023-24 campaign.
Martial is also allegedly being tracked by teams in the Saudi Pro League, with two unnamed clubs said to be planning to make offers at the start of 2024.
The bids from Saudi Arabia will reportedly be in the region of €10m (£8.8m) to €15m (£13.1m), leaving Man United with a big decision to make when it comes to the attacker's future.
Rasmus Hojlund has been the starting striker at Man United since making his debut at the start of September, with Martial largely restricted to substitute appearances this term.
The former Monaco youngster has represented Man United on 313 occasions in all competitions since arriving in 2015, scoring 89 goals and registering 54 assists in the process.
Man United will be reluctant to let Martial leave in January without a replacement being lined-up, especially as Jadon Sancho is also set to leave at the start of 2024.
Marcus Rashford has only scored once in all competitions this season, while all of Hojlund's five goals have come in the Champions League.
Martial has also previously been linked with West Ham United, although it is unlikely that Man United would be willing to let him move to a domestic rival. body check tags ::
