Juventus are reportedly 'convinced' that Jadon Sancho wants to join them this summer despite the attacker returning to training with Manchester United on Friday.
Sancho is believed to have had clear-the-air talks with Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag last week, with the two individuals seemingly resolving their differences.
The forward is therefore now available for Man United's pre-season friendlies, and there have been suggestions that he will now be staying at Old Trafford this summer.
However, according to ESPN, Juventus remain 'convinced' that Sancho wants to make the move to Turin before the end of the summer transfer window.
The Old Lady are said to be considering using Federico Chiesa as a makeweight, with the club said to be unwilling to meet Man United's asking price, which is thought to be around £40m.
Juventus are 'still pushing' to sign Sancho
Sancho will not be involved in Man United's friendly with Rosenborg on Monday, but he is set to feature in their upcoming games, providing that a transfer does not occur.
The 24-year-old spent the second half of last season back on loan at Borussia Dortmund, but the German outfit allegedly cannot afford to re-sign him on a permanent basis this summer.
Sancho has largely found it difficult to make his mark for Man United since arriving from Dortmund in 2021, only managing 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances in all competitions.
The forward was heavily involved in his current side's pre-season ahead of the 2023-24 campaign, and he had been tipped to start last term in Ten Hag's first XI.
However, Sancho was a substitute for his team's first three matches of the Premier League season before being left out entirely against Arsenal at the start of September.
Will Sancho leave Man United this summer?
Ten Hag said that he left Sancho out due to poor performances on the training ground, but the forward insisted that was not the case, claiming that he had been made a "scapegoat".
Having refused to apologise for effectively branding his manager a liar, Sancho was removed from the first-team picture at Old Trafford, and it appeared that his time at the club was over.
However, a positive meeting took place with Ten Hag last week; it is unclear whether an apology was issued, or the two simply decided to move on from the situation.
Despite the recent turn of events, it would still not be a surprise to see Sancho leave this summer if a suitable offer arrives, as Man United need to make some first-team sales in order to boost their squad. body check tags ::
