Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has insisted that the club have no plans to sign Wilfried Zaha on loan next season.
Zaha will join Manchester United next term after agreeing a deal in January, and
Holloway has said that newly-promoted Palace will not look to have the player sent back on a short-term deal.
"I have heard it mooted that we will try to persuade United to allow us to take Wilfried on loan so he can get acclimatised to the Premier League," Holloway wrote in his column in The Mirror.
"I think that is unfair on a player who has been brilliant for us and goes to Old Trafford with the best wishes of everyone connected to Palace.
"He is now ready for the challenge of becoming a United player and I won't be making a call unless I am encouraged to do so by David Moyes."
Palace beat Watford in the playoff final last week to join Cardiff City and Hull City in the top division next year.
