Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed that compatriot Victor Lindelof is "hot on the market" and has the talent to shine for the world's top teams.
The Red Devils are understood to be close to agreeing a deal with Benfica for the Swedish defender, who has been linked with a number of European clubs in recent weeks.
Ibrahimovic has played alongside Lindelof for the Scandinavian nation and has predicted great things for the 22-year-old.
"He is growing. He has a lot of responsibility with the national team now," Ibrahimovic told Sky Sports News.
"Is he good enough for United? I think he is ready for the big clubs out there. It is up to him what he wants and what the situation says. Whatever he chooses, it will be good for him.
"I know he is hot on the market so let him make the right choice for him."
Lindelof played in all three of Sweden's games in Euro 2016, and has claimed 11 international caps so far.
