Brentford striker Ivan Toney is reportedly interested in joining Manchester United in the future.
After scoring 14 goals in 37 appearances last term for Brentford, the 26-year-old has continued to impress this season, racking up five goals and three assists across eight matches.
As a result of his early season form, Toney has been rewarded with his first England call-up, although he was left out of the squad for Friday's 1-0 defeat to Italy.
Despite having three years left on his current contract, according to Manchester Evening News, Man United could look to sign the forward in the near future.
If a potential move to Old Trafford did arise, journalist Pete O'Rourke believes that Toney would be keen to make the switch to United.
Speaking to Give Me Sport, O'Rourke said: "Ivan Toney, he's worked wonders to get that call-up to the England squad.
"He's been instrumental for Brentford since they came up to the Premier League last season, and the chance to move to a massive club like Manchester United, I'm sure, would turn his head. That's pretty obvious, I think, for any player."
Toney could still make his international debut in Monday's UEFA Nations League game against Germany before he turns his attention to Brentford's Premier League meeting with Bournemouth on October 1. body check tags ::
