Joao Felix will reportedly be offered to Premier League clubs during the January transfer window.
The Atletico Madrid forward started four of Portugal's five World Cup games, scoring once and assisting twice before his side were edged out by Morocco in the quarter-finals.
According to the Daily Mail, Felix is thought to be available for transfer next month after struggling to showcase his attacking talent at a regular rate under manager Diego Simeone, and his representatives are keen to listen to offers from England.
Any transfer will be handled by the powerful Gestifute agency run by Jorge Mendes, who has strong links to a whole host of clubs around Europe, with potential destinations including Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Aston Villa.
The 23-year-old was bought for around £120m in the summer of 2019, but has struggled to realise his full potential in Simeone's pragmatic system.
During his time at the Spanish club, he has amassed 129 games, scoring 33 times and assisting a further 18, with his defining moment in red and white being their La Liga triumph in 2021.
