Lille forward Jonathan David has revealed that he would be open to a move to the Premier League in the near future.

The Canadian has scored nine goals in 12 games so far this season, and clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid have been linked with the 22-year-old.

Despite having three years left on his contract with Les Dogues, David has hinted at a desire to leave the French club at some point in the future.

"Every player wants to play for a massive club in their life. So I think if I had the chance to do it, I'll go for it for sure," David told Sky Sports News.

"They're two different leagues [the Premier League and La Liga] but I think I can adapt to both for sure. And I think with the experience that I've had here in France, it will help me a lot if I need to adapt to some place else a lot faster."

The attacker will hope to give a good account of himself at next month's World Cup to pique the interest of the 'massive clubs' he talked about. body check tags ::
