The agent of Napoli midfielder Jorginho has claimed that his client has not spoken to Manchester United regarding a transfer.
The Italy international is believed to have been told that he can leave the club this summer.
Reports have suggested that United are one of the clubs keeping a close eye on the 26-year-old, but Jorginho's agent Joao Santos has played down rumours of a switch to Old Trafford.
"As a player for one of the most important national teams, and a club fighting for the Scudetto, it's clear he'll be looked at by these clubs," Santos told Radio Crc.
"I've spoken with [Napoli sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli three times in recent months. He hasn't told me anything, but I haven't had any contact with United."
Jorginho joined Napoli from Verona in 2014.
