Jude Bellingham 'agrees £22.5m Borussia Dortmund deal'

:Headline: Jude Bellingham 'agrees £22.5m Borussia Dortmund deal':
Borussia Dortmund win the race to sign Birmingham City teenager Jude Bellingham in a £22.5m deal, according to a report.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly won the race for Birmingham City teenager Jude Bellingham.

The 17-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent months, with Manchester United thought to be desperate to bring him to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are believed to have shown the midfielder around their training ground earlier this year, which included a meet with Sir Alex Ferguson, as the club attempted to convince him to turn down interest from Germany to join the 20-time English champions.

Dortmund have also been consistency linked with the youngster, though, and according to Bild, BVB have now won the race to sign him in a €25m (£22.5m) deal.

The report claims that Bellingham has penned a five-year contract at Signal Iduna Park and will earn approximately €3m (£2.7m) a year in wages.

The England Under-17 international has been in excellent form for his Championship club this season, contributing four goals and two assists in 41 appearances in all competitions. body check tags ::
