Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham reportedly wants to move to Real Madrid next summer.

The 19-year-old is widely expected to leave BVB at the end of the 2022-23 campaign, and it is likely that he will have the pick of a number of major clubs in European football.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all said to be desperate to bring the teenager back to English football, while there has also been suggestions of interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Real Madrid are also viewed as among the frontrunners for his signature, and according to Relevo, the England international wants to move to the Spanish capital.

The report claims Los Blancos have identified Bellingham as their leading summer transfer target, with head coach Carlo Ancelotti determined to boost his midfield.

Real Madrid spent big money on Aurelien Tchouameni over the summer, bringing in the midfielder from Monaco, but Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are both entering the latter stages of their time at Bernabeu.

Bellingham is said to be fully aware of the interest from the likes of Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea but believes that joining the reigning Spanish and European champions would be best at this stage of his career.

The midfielder moved to Dortmund from Birmingham City in the summer of 2020, and he has made 107 appearances for the German side, contributing 18 goals and 20 assists in the process.

Bellingham has been a vital player for BVB this term, featuring on 17 occasions in all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.

The teenager has also now been capped 17 times by England, and he is believed to be in contention for a starting role for the Three Lions at the upcoming World Cup.

Bellingham captained Dortmund against Sevilla in the Champions League earlier this month, while he also skippered his side in the league against FC Koln.

The midfielder has actually scored in each of his four Champions League appearances this term against Copenhagen, Manchester City and Sevilla (twice).

Meanwhile, he was in impressive form for Dortmund in the Bundesliga on Saturday, scoring twice in a 5-0 victory against Stuttgart at Signal Iduna Park.

Bellingham has a contract with the Black and Yellows until June 2025, and Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano recently said that he is likely to become the most expensive midfielder in history, with Edin Terzic's side believed to be looking for a fee in excess of £100m in order to let him leave. body check tags ::
