Juventus could reportedly move for Bayern Munich's Thiago Alcantara should they fail to complete a deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba during this summer's transfer window.
The Italian champions continue to be credited with an interest in the France international, whose agent Mino Raiola is currently locked in a war of words with the 20-time English champions.
The Old Lady will seemingly still have to come up with a substantial transfer fee should they wish to sign the 2018 World Cup winner, though, and according to Tuttosport, Thiago has emerged as back-up option.
The report claims that Maurizio Sarri's side could switch their attention to the Spanish playmaker if United play hardball over Pogba's future for a second successive summer.
Thiago has been a regular for Bayern this season, making 27 appearances in all competitions, but the 28-year-old will see his contract at the Allianz Arena expire next June.
Juve are also allegedly interested in signing Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus this summer.
