Juventus will reportedly soon open talks with Manchester United over a January deal for Jadon Sancho.
The 23-year-old is set to leave the 20-time English champions during the winter market following the breakdown of his relationship with head coach Erik ten Hag.
Sancho has not represented Man United since the end of August, with Ten Hag claiming that he left the attacker out against Arsenal at the start of September due to some poor performances in training.
The ex-Manchester City youngster took to social media to insist that was not the case, claiming that he had been made "a scapegoat", effectively calling his manager a liar.
Sancho has been removed from the first-team picture entirely, and it is highly unlikely that he will represent Man United again, with both parties said to be keen to part ways at the start of 2024.
A number of clubs have been linked with the forward, including his former team Borussia Dortmund, but Juventus appear to have emerged as the favourites for his signature in recent weeks.
According to Fichajes, the Italian giants will begin discussions with Man United 'shortly', and there is a confidence from the Old Lady that a move will be agreed.
The report claims that the strong relationship between the two historic clubs has placed Juventus in a strong position to win the race for his signature.
There is also believed to be interest from Saudi Arabia, but Sancho, who has dropped out of the England set-up due to his struggles at Old Trafford, is said to be determined to continue his career in Europe.
The forward collects around £250,000 a week at Man United, and it has previously been reported that the Red Devils value him at £50m, but Juventus would not be able to pay that fee in January.
A loan switch to Turin could potentially be agreed, though, providing that the Serie A giants are willing to commit to a mandatory purchase at the end of the campaign.
Sancho has only managed 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances for Man United since arriving at the club from Dortmund in the summer of 2021.
The forward scored 50 goals and registered 64 assists in 137 outings for Dortmund, though, and Juventus are said to be confident of helping him regain his best form.
Juventus are currently second in the Serie A table, boasting 29 points from their 12 league matches this season, and they will take on division leaders Inter Milan in a huge match on Sunday night.
