Kleberson has claimed that 'it is the right time' for Manchester United to sell midfielder Paul Pogba.
The France international is being heavily linked with a switch to Real Madrid or Juventus after revealing that he wants a new challenge, a stance which has been backed by representative Mino Raiola.
United are said to be against a sale unless they receive their £150m valuation but former player Kleberson feels that the Premier League outfit should cash in on the World Cup winner.
The Brazilian is quoted by talkSPORT as saying: "It is the right move to sell Paul Pogba, he's a great player and his talent is unbelievable, but his style is a little bit different, and not particularly what Man United need.
"He could use this opportunity now to leave and get a fresh start, play in a different atmosphere, and embrace a new challenge. Sometimes it's hard to come to Manchester United and adapt to play a particular style. It doesn't mean he's not a good player with great quality."
Kleberson, who cost United a fee of £6.5m, made 30 appearances for United between 2003 and 2005.
