Louis van Gaal has reportedly closed in on his first signing as manager of Manchester United.
It is believed that the Red Devils are in advanced talks with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk regarding their winger Yevhen Konoplyanka.
Providing that those discussions continue to progress, the Ukrainian international could become a United player in the near future, according to The Mirror.
As well as the 24-year-old, Van Gaal is also thought to have informed the Old Trafford board that he would like to add Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger and Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels to his squad before the start of pre-season training.
Kevin Strootman of Roma has also been heavily linked with a switch to the 20-time champions of England.
