Leicester City have reportedly approached Manchester United to determine whether Luke Shaw might be available for transfer.
The 24-year-old was voted United's Players' Player of the Year and Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year for the 2018-19 campaign having enjoyed his most productive season for the club.
The Englishman has again struggled with injury this term, though, and is now under pressure for his starting role at Old Trafford due to the emergence of Brandon Williams.
Leicester, meanwhile, could soon be in the market for a new left-back as the speculation surrounding Ben Chilwell, who has been strongly linked with Manchester City and Chelsea, continues to gather pace.
According to The Mirror, the Foxes are preparing for life after Chilwell and have made an enquiry to United to determine the availability of Shaw.
The former Southampton youngster was on the sidelines between the end of August and start of December due to injury but has been involved in eight of United's last Premier League matches.
Shaw pulled out of the squad against Norwich City on Saturday afternoon with a tight hamstring, though, and Williams again impressed at left-back in his absence.
