Leicester City have reportedly agreed a fee with Freiburg for defender Caglar Soyuncu and will complete the deal in the coming hours.
The 22-year-old, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United this summer, has become a key part of the German side's backline over the last two seasons and remains under contract until 2021.
According to Turkish Football, Soyuncu will now move to the King Power Stadium in a five-year deal worth £18m, rising to £20m with bonuses.
The Foxes had emerged as strong contenders for the Turkey international in recent days as part of a rumoured defensive double swoop that would also see them bring in Croatian centre-back Filip Benkovic.
Reports have suggested that the pair are being signed as replacements for Harry Maguire, who has been linked with a £65m switch to Manchester United, but the club remain adamant that the England defender will not be sold at any price this summer.
