RB Leipzig have seen off rumoured competition from Premier League pair Manchester United and Chelsea to complete the signing of Dinamo Zagreb playmaker Dani Olmo.
The 21-year-old was also on the radar of a number of other clubs, including AC Milan and former side Barcelona, after starring for Spain in last year's U21 Euro 2019 championship.
Olmo has also impressed for Dinamo in the Champions League this season with two goals and an assist in the group stage.
Bundesliga leaders Leipzig confirmed on Saturday that the one-cap Spain international has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at Red Bull Arena.
Leipzig, who are four points clear at the top of the German top flight, are believed to have paid an initial fee of £17m rising to £30m for the Barca academy product's signature.
