Manchester United have reportedly earmarked Bayern Munich duo Robert Lewandowski and Thiago Alcantara as prospective summer targets.
Lewandowski joined Bayern on a free transfer in 2014 and has scored 151 goals in 195 games for the club, but has been tipped to quit the Bundesliga in search of a new challenge elsewhere.
Thiago, meanwhile, arrived at the Allianz Arena from Barcelona in 2013 and has made 153 appearances, scoring 25 goals and registering 27 assists.
According to The Independent, Bayern are open to selling the pair and, of the clubs contacted, Man United have both the need in the respective positions and enough money to pull off each deal.
Man United are seeking to build on their second-place finish in the Premier League last season as bitter rivals Manchester City swept all before them en route to the title.
