Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire would reportedly turn down a move to Manchester United in favour of joining Manchester City if Pep Guardiola's side moved for the England international this summer.
United and City are believed to be in the market for new centre-backs ahead of the 2019-20 campaign, with Maguire said to be high on the wishlist of both Manchester clubs.
According to the Daily Mail, United have already approached Leicester over a move for Maguire, but the defender has made it clear that he wants to join the Premier League champions if a fee can be agreed.
Last month, it was claimed that City would have to pay a world-record fee for a defender - potentially as much as £90m - if they wished to bring Maguire to the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The 26-year-old, who has scored five times in 76 appearances for Leicester since a 2017 switch from Hull City, has four years left to run on his contract at the King Power Stadium.
