Harry Maguire reportedly wants to play for Manchester United and emulate the feats of his heroes Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic at Old Trafford.
Leicester City have already rejected two bids from United, who also launched an unsuccessful attempt to sign Maguire under Jose Mourinho last summer.
United's latest bid is said to be in the region of £70m, but Leicester are holding out for an offer of closer to £90m before letting the defender leave.
According to Sky Sports News, Maguire is growing increasingly frustrated with Leicester's resolute stance against selling him this summer and wants to take his career to the next level at Old Trafford.
Maguire is a deep admirer of Ferdinand and Vidic, whom he idolised as a youngster, and wants to emulate the pair by becoming a future captain at the Theatre of Dreams.
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers claimed on Wednesday that United were nowhere near the club's valuation of Maguire, adding that there would be a "cut off point" for when the club no longer considered bids for the defender.
