Manchester City are reportedly determined to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane during this summer's transfer window.
The England captain is believed to have told Spurs that he wants to leave the club in the upcoming market, placing the likes of Man City, Manchester United and Chelsea on high alert.
Both Man City and Man United are said to be prepared to hand the 27-year-old a five-year contract worth £300,000 a week, with the two clubs thought to be the favourites to secure his signature.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is believed to value Kane in the region of £150m, and the forward still has more than three years left to run on his current deal.
However, according to The Guardian, the Premier League champions want to sign the Englishman this summer and are preparing to open talks with his North London club.
The report claims that Man City have already been in touch with Kane's representatives to discuss the possibility of a switch to the Etihad Stadium as a replacement for the outgoing Sergio Aguero.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are also thought to be admirers of the striker, who has scored 32 goals and registered 16 assists in 48 appearances at club level during the 2020-21 campaign. body check tags ::
