Manchester City and Manchester United may reportedly go head to head for the signing of Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
The 23-year-old ended the 2018-19 campaign as the Spanish side's top scorer thanks to 16 goals in all competitions.
That form earned Lo Celso links with a move to the Premier League with United, who are on the lookout for a midfielder of his calibre.
According to the Manchester Evening News, though, the Red Devils face competition from neighbours Man City as Pep Guardiola intends to keep a close eye on the Argentina international at this summer's Copa America.
Betis only signed Lo Celso on a permanent deal in April following his successful spell on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, but they are believed to be willing to part with the player if they are offered around the £60m mark.
Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid are also rumoured to be in the running to sign the former PSG ace.
