Manchester United have reportedly made a breakthrough in negotiations for Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The right-back was one of Palace's most impressive performers this season, making a total of 35 starts in the Premier League.
Wan-Bissaka's form inevitably led to interest from elsewhere, and United have been attempting to agree a deal for the Eagles man since the end of the campaign.
According to the Daily Record, United are on the brink of bringing in the England Under-21 international after agreeing to pay Palace a fee of £55m.
The report suggests that Palace may also receive more money in the way of add-ons over the coming years, potentially taking a deal over £57.5m.
United required a new player for the right-hand side of their backline due to the departure of Antonio Valencia.
