Reports have claimed that Manchester United have signed Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan.
Recent speculation in Spain had claimed that the Red Devils had agreed to purchase the Monaco striker for around £50m.
However, several publications in England have now claimed that the 28-year-old will arrive at Old Trafford on a 12-month loan basis, with United paying their French counterparts £12m.
The move is expected to be confirmed once Falcao passes a medical at United's Carrington training base.
Manchester City and Arsenal were both believed to also be in the running for Falcao's services.
