Manchester United and Arsenal are both reportedly interested in signing Watford defender Christian Kabasele during the January transfer window.
The two Premier League giants are believed to be in the market for a new centre-back, having both struggled with injuries in that area of the field this season.
According to le10sport, Watford's Kabasele has emerged as a transfer target for both clubs, having developed into a dependable performer for the Hornets.
The 28-year-old is thought to be nearing a contract extension at Vicarage Road as his current deal will expire at the end of next season.
However, the report claims that both United and Arsenal are keeping a close eye on developments, with the pair considering offers before the January window closes for business.
Kabasele, who has also been linked with West Ham United and Newcastle United, has been capped on two occasions by the Belgium national team.
This season, he has contributed two assists in 16 appearances for Watford in all competitions but missed Sunday's 3-0 win over Bournemouth through suspension.
