Manchester United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
United have long been linked with a move for the right-back, who is currently representing England's Under-21 side at the European Championships.
According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils 'held extensive talks' with Palace on Friday regarding the 21-year-old and the two teams are now 'closer to an agreement'.
The report claims that United could pay an initial £42.5m for the Englishman, although the deal would also involve various add-ons.
Wan-Bissaka, who has a contract at Selhurst Park until the summer of 2022, made 35 Premier League appearances for Roy Hodgson's side during the 2018-19 campaign.
Antonio Valencia's departure on a free transfer will leave United short at right-back, while Ashley Young struggled for form for large parts of last season.
