Manchester United could reportedly be priced out of summer moves for Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland and Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane.
Haaland could potentially leave BVB in the upcoming market, while Kane has allegedly told Tottenham that he wants to seek pastures new, with Man United said to have an interest in both players.
However, according to The Athletic, the two forwards may prove too expensive, with the Red Devils not prepared to meet Haaland's asking price, which could be as much as £130m.
Kane, meanwhile, could cost in the region of £120m, and Manchester City are thought to be at the head of the queue for the England captain.
The report claims that Man United could potentially include Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial as makeweights in a move for Kane, but the club would not be able to afford a one-off transfer fee.
The 20-time English champions are still said to lead the race for Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, while a return to Old Trafford for Juventus attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has not been ruled out. body check tags ::
