Manchester United could reportedly sell Jesse Lingard for a cut-price fee in January if the attacker refuses to sign a new contract at Old Trafford.
The England international's current deal with the Red Devils is due to expire next June, and it is understood that he is not currently prepared to sign an extension while he continues to struggle for starts.
West Ham United tried to sign Lingard on a permanent deal over the summer, but the 20-time English champions decided to keep hold of him.
The 28-year-old has scored twice and registered one assist in six appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side this term but has featured for just 45 minutes in the Premier League.
According to The Sun, Man United will consider selling Lingard for £15m in January if his contract situation at the club is unresolved at the turn of the year.
The report claims that the Red Devils have offered the attacker a new deal worth £135,000 a week.
Lingard is thought to be a transfer target for Newcastle United following the club's takeover. body check tags ::
