Manchester United have reportedly created a four-man shortlist of potential replacements for Edison Cavani.

The Uruguay international is someone that the club could end up losing as soon as the upcoming January transfer window, with Barcelona being interested in him.

Cavani is currently injured, but he has only played five times in the Premier League this season, where he has contributed one goal for the Red Devils.

However, according to The Express, a four-man shortlist has been created featuring Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix, Real Sociedad's Alexander Isak and Chelsea's Timo Werner.

All four players have been proven goalscorers throughout their careers around Europe, in a similar manner to Cavani, but the club is likely only going to sign a player if he ends up leaving.

The Red Devils will play Norwich City this weekend as they look to continue their undefeated start under Ralf Rangnick.
