Manchester United have reportedly identified RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele as a potential signing during next summer's transfer window.
The 23-year-old has made 115 appearances for his German club since arriving from Montpellier in 2018, contributing nine goals and seven assists in the process.
Mukiele has been in strong form at the start of the 2021-22 campaign, meanwhile, providing one goal and one assist in seven appearances in all competitions.
The defender's current deal with Leipzig is due to expire in June 2023, though, and it has been suggested that the France international is stalling on penning a new contract.
According to Fichajes, Man United want to sign Mukiele as competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back, while the fact that he can play in midfield makes him an attractive proposition for the English giants.
The former Laval youngster made his senior debut for France against Finland earlier this month. body check tags ::
