Manchester United are reportedly keen to offer a new contract to midfielder Jesse Lingard this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has allegedly been impressed with the 28-year-old's performances during his loan spell at West Ham United, and the Red Devils boss is now looking to reintegrate him into his first-team plans ahead of next season.
Lingard has just over a year left on his current £100,000-a-week contract, and according to The Sun, United are willing to offer him a new three-year deal.
However, it is believed that West Ham will try to sign the England international on a permanent basis at the end of the campaign as David Moyes sees him as a key member of his squad going forward.
The Hammers value Lingard between £15m and £20m, but United would want more than that if a deal was to be struck this summer.
Lingard's performances for West Ham have seen him work his way back into Gareth Southgate's England plans, with the attacker starting and providing an assist in the 5-0 victory over San Marino on Thursday.
Since joining West Ham in January, he has made 10 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing three assists. body check tags ::
