Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane has said that he is fully focused on Euro 2020 and is not currently prepared to discuss his situation at club level.
The 28-year-old will represent France at this summer's European Championships, but the speculation surrounding the defender's future continues to gather pace.
Manchester United have allegedly identified the World Cup winner as a leading transfer target, with the Red Devils seeking a centre-back partner for club captain Harry Maguire.
However, Varane has said that 'it is not the right time' to discuss his future and could delay any decision on a possible transfer until after this summer's tournament.
"This is not the time to talk about my future, I am focused on the selection, on this Euro, it is normal and logical to ask the question and for my part it is normal and logical to focus on the upcoming deadlines," Varane told reporters.
"We are all human beings. We can think about it. As for my personal case, I am focused on the objectives that we have in the France team, it is not a subject that I will discuss every day in my room at Clairefontaine.
"I am focused on my goal, and now is not the time to discuss it. If I have to talk about it, it will be directly with the people concerned."
Manchester City and Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in the Frenchman, who is approaching the final 12 months of his contract at the Bernabeu. body check tags ::
