Manchester United have reportedly not been in contact with Eintracht Frankfurt's Andre Silva despite the recent speculation surrounding the Portugal international.
The 25-year-old has been in strong form for Frankfurt during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 20 times and registering five assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
Man United have been credited with an interest in the attacker amid suggestions that the club are weighing up alternatives for Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland.
Silva recently hinted that he would be open to a move to Old Trafford, but according to Bild journalist Christian Falk, the striker is not currently a target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
The Portuguese, who has also scored 16 times in 37 appearances at international level, has a contract with his Bundesliga club until the summer of 2023.
The Red Devils will allegedly prioritise signing a new forward over a defender in the upcoming market.
