Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is reportedly not currently a transfer target for Manchester United despite the recent speculation surrounding the Frenchman.

The 21-year-old, who has already made five appearances for his Ligue 1 club this summer, has been linked with a move to Chelsea over the last few months.

A recent report claimed that Man United were also interested in the midfielder and could make a move for his services before this summer's transfer window closes for business.

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 20-time English champions are not currently pursuing a deal for Tchouameni.

The defensive midfielder, who still has three years left to run on his contract at Stade Louis II, has scored four times and registered four assists in 50 appearances for Monaco in all competitions.

Man United will be looking to make it back-to-back wins at the start of the 2021-22 Premier League season when they travel to Southampton on Sunday afternoon.
