Manchester United are set to make an offer for Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann, according to a report.
The Catalan giants are in financial disarray and were unable to tie Lionel Messi down to a new deal for that reason, in spite of the six-time Ballon d'Or winner's desire to stay.
Barca are still desperately seeking to trim their wage bill during the current transfer window, and Griezmann has supposedly instructed his agent to find him another club.
Man United are not thought to be eyeing a move for a new striker after Edinson Cavani extended his stay, but according to Todofichajes, they have been alerted to Griezmann's availability.
The report claims that the Red Devils have touched base with Barcelona to register their interest in the 30-year-old and are expected to make a formal approach later this month.
Griezmann arrived at Camp Nou from Atletico Madrid for £108m in the summer of 2019, and he boasts 35 goals and 17 assists from 99 games in all competitions for Barcelona.
Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the World Cup-winning Frenchman, whose Blaugrana deal does not expire until 2024.
