Manchester United have reportedly begun to put a proposal together ahead of making an approach for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.
Having emerged as one of the key men at the Hammers over the past 18 months, Rice has naturally received interest from a number of top clubs, including United.
While the England international has a long-term contract at the London Stadium, it is unlikely to prevent offers from being made for his signature in the upcoming transfer windows.
According to Goal.com, United are ready to make their move, with plans underway to produce terms which West Ham may be willing to accept in January or the summer.
The East London outfit are said to value Rice in the region of £80m, a figure which is unlikely to deter United given their need to sign at least one new central midfielder.
The 20-year-old academy graduate has made 81 appearances in the club's senior ranks.
