According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Man United will hold contract discussions with the former Atletico Madrid youngster 'in the next months' in the hope of reaching an agreement over an extension.
De Gea has played in all 32 of his team's Premier League matches during the current season, while he has now represented the club on 481 occasions in all competitions since arriving in the summer of 2011.
