Manchester United will reportedly move for Erling Braut Haaland this summer if it becomes clear that Borussia Dortmund are prepared to sell the Norway international.
A £65m release clause in the 20-year-old's contract will not be active until next year, but it is thought that Dortmund could be forced to sell him in the upcoming market due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak, with the club facing the possibility of missing out on next season's Champions League.
According to Eurosport, Man United are prepared to enter a bidding war 'with every top club in Europe' if the youngster is available for transfer.
Haaland has again been in excellent form for his Bundesliga side during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 31 times and registering eight assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
Man United's need for a new striker would be strengthened if Edinson Cavani does not extend his contract at Old Trafford, with the Uruguay international's future currently up in the air.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus are also all allegedly interested in signing Haaland either this summer or at the end of next season.
