Manchester United are reportedly unlikely to prioritise the signing of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho this summer.
United had been keen to secure the England international's signature during 2020 before the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic contributed to a change of heart.
Sancho has remained on United's radar during the 2020-21 campaign having recorded seven goals and 11 assists in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
However, according to The Athletic, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to target a new centre-back and striker before thinking about a move for Sancho.
The report suggests that further financial constraints will lead to United having to sacrifice a deal for Sancho in order to strengthen in other areas.
Dortmund, also hindered by reduced income over the past 11 months, are expected to be open to selling Sancho before the start of the next campaign.
