Manchester United will reportedly refuse to pay £110m for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho during the current transfer window.
The former Manchester City trainee has long been linked with a future switch to United, who have the funds to push through a deal after securing qualification for the Champions League.
However, it has been claimed in the past that club officials are wary about committing to a significant financial outlay during the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite their desire to sign the England international, the Daily Mail claims that United are not prepared to meet Dortmund's asking price in the coming months.
The report also says that United have not already offered to pay £89m for the 20-year-old, who has two years left on his contract.
Should they sell Sancho this summer, Dortmund are said to be pushing for a deal to be concluded by August 10.
