Manchester United are reportedly 'relaxed' when it comes to Marcus Rashford's future despite the attacker's contract at Old Trafford having less than 12 months left to run.
The 25-year-old was in excellent form for the 20-time English champions during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 56 occasions in all competitions, scoring 30 goals and registering 11 assists in the process.
Rashford's deal with the Red Devils is due to expire next June, though, and Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be keeping a close eye on his situation in Manchester.
PSG were heavily linked with the Man United academy product last summer following his difficult 2021-22 campaign at Old Trafford.
However, incoming Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag insisted that Rashford would not be leaving Old Trafford, and the England international was a vital player for the Dutchman last term.
According to talkSPORT, Man United remain 'relaxed' over the situation, with the forward close to coming to an agreement with the club over a long-term contract.
The report claims that PSG view Rashford as the perfect replacement for Kylian Mbappe, with the France international potentially leaving the capital giants this summer.
However, Rashford is set to pen a long-term deal in Manchester, with the Englishman confident that Ten Hag can oversee a successful period in the club's history.
The forward came through the youth system at Old Trafford, making his debut in 2015, and he has now represented the club on 359 occasions, scoring 123 goals and registering 68 assists in the process.
Rashford scored 17 goals and registered five assists in 35 Premier League appearances last season, as the Red Devils finished third to secure a return to the Champions League for 2023-24.
The forward also netted six times and registered two assists in nine Europa League outings, in addition to scoring seven goals and registering four assists in 12 appearances in the FA Cup and EFL Cup.
Man United have boosted their squad with the signing of Mason Mount this summer, but the club want to bring in at least one more attacker to ease the goalscoring burden on Rashford.
Harry Kane is still thought to be the dream target of Ten Hag, but a deal for the Tottenham Hotspur centre-forward is seen as highly unlikely at this stage of proceedings.
Atalanta BC's Rasmus Hojlund is currently being heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford, with the Red Devils said to be in discussions over a move for the Denmark international. body check tags ::
