Manchester United have reportedly had a player-plus-cash offer for Issa Diop turned down by West Ham United.
The Red Devils are rumoured to have switched focus to Diop due to Leicester City's huge asking price for top target Harry Maguire.
According to The Mirror, United offered £40m plus an unknown player to West Ham, but the Irons have knocked them back.
Diop joined the London side from Toulouse in a £22m deal last summer and the report indicates that they are determined to keep hold of him.
However, the player himself could hand in a transfer request to force through a move to Old Trafford.
If that is the case, West Ham would still allegedly hold out for £60m as Diop has four years to run on his contract.
