Manchester United are reportedly pondering a move for Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott this summer.
The 31-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has failed to secure a regular starting spot under manager Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium.
While United manager David Moyes is said to be considering offering the defender a position as a squad player at Old Trafford, it is understood that Lescott wants first-team football, according to the Daily Star.
Lescott has been linked with fellow Premier League sides Stoke City and Newcastle United, as well as Turkish outfit Besiktas.
