Manchester United have drawn up plans to snap up Real Madrid star Isco from under the noses of Manchester City, according to a report.
The 22-year-old has seen his playing time limited at the Bernabeu this season and is rumoured to be eager for a new challenge.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Jose Mourinho is contemplating a move for Isco in the summer in an effort to ward off apparent interest from Pep Guardiola's side.
The Citizens have been linked with the Spain international in the past, and the report suggests that United are eager to steal a march on their rivals with the acquisition of the talented player.
Isco has started 14 games for Real in La Liga this term, but just two of those have come since the winter break.
